FAQs

  • Our colorful logo was crafted, by Chattanooga artist Dylan Sanchez, to be an iconographic logo. Iconography is the use of images and symbols to represent ideas and various parts of our logo have symbolized ideas throughout history. We’ll explain these below.

The belt of the snake eating its tail (also known as the Ouroboros) is an ancient occult symbol in many cultures throughout history, including Egyptian, Greek, Norse, and alchemical traditions. It represents the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth, the merging of dualities, the esoteric hidden knowledge that all is one, and in alchemy it symbolizes the ultimate transformation of matter and spirit.

The seven stars represent the Pleiades star cluster, symbolizing hidden knowledge, spiritual awakening, and celestial guidance. This star cluster has been paid attention to by cultures across the globe for thousands, and possibly even 10s of thousands, of years.

Land represents the earthly, material, and conscious world. Water represents the subconscious, emotions, and spiritual depths. Having one foot in water and one foot on land represents harmonizing the seen with the unseen, being grounded in reality while remaining open to higher knowledge, and balance in logic and intuition.

The holding of a sword pointing downward represents peace after conflict, wisdom and self-discipline, divine justice, bringing higher wisdom down to earth, stabilizing volatile spirit within matter, and the submission to fate and acceptance of destiny.

Holding up a lantern represents the guiding of the initiate through the Great Work, which is the spiritual transformation, revelation, and inner awakening. In some traditions, a lantern is associated with divine knowledge hidden from the masses and that being held up suggests the revealing of those mysteries to those who seek them earnestly.

The moon represents the subconscious, dreams, hidden aspects of the self, mystery, illusion, and the unseen forces that influence reality.

The wand represents channeling and focusing spiritual powers to influence reality, manifest intentions, and direct energy toward a goal. In the context of our logo, the goal is healing of people and the planet.

The mortar and pestle represent transformation, healing, the blending of opposites through the alchemical process of transmutation, and the sacred union of masculine and feminine energies.

The Oak tree represents strength and stability, wisdom, endurance of truth and knowledge, and the connection between worlds.

Mushrooms represent expanded consciousness, enlightenment, and dissolving of the ego. Mesoamerican, Siberian, and Hindu traditions called them "food of the gods". They are linked to the idea of alchemical transmutation where matter and spirit can be broken down and reformed into something new, symbolizing transformation, decay, and the regeneration of life.

  • Our sticker was carefully selected because it is made from recycled paper, plant-based adhesive, plant-based ink, and the paper backing is recyclable and/or biodegradable - making it zero waste. Most other stickers are made of petroleum-based inks, toxic chemical adhesives, polymer coatings, and plastic backings. These manufacturing details create multiple streams of environmental and health hazards especially when you consider the “cradle to grave” concept for production and decomposition, which we find essential in choosing products and business services to support. An important part of our work is to help people understand that things don’t just disappear when you’re done with them and the manufacturing processes of products you use make a huge difference on the health of ecosystems globally.

It is also important to note that when products are made to be beneficial to local and global ecosystems (which include humans), they don’t last as long. This is one of the many shifts we should embrace as part of living in harmony with the Earth as it is a minor “loss” in the overall process to enjoy a vastly better quality of life.
